Our Story

EmpowerCare Youths Network Solution (EYNS) is a non-profit organization based in Choma, Southern Province, Zambia. Committed to enhancing the well-being of adolescents and young people, EYNS focuses on health services sensitization, mobilization programs, and awareness campaigns, particularly addressing HIV prevention through the "Know Your Status" initiative. Founded by Nalubanda Chipo, known as Nalu with the aim of addressing the pressing health and socio-economic challenges faced by adolescents and young people in Zambia, EYNS recognizes the importance of proactive intervention and community engagement in promoting holistic well-being. EYNS was inaugurated on May 11, 2023, and received official registration from the National Youth Development Council on July 6, 2023. Comprising a dedicated team of 10 staff members, EYNS is committed to fostering positive change in society, particularly among adolescents and young people. The organization's primary goal is to provide comprehensive and accessible Adolescent Health Services, with a particular focus on combating issues such as gender-based violence (GBV), early marriages, teenage pregnancies, and HIV prevention. Additionally, EYNS extends support through educational programs for vulnerable children, ensuring access to sanitary pads for girls to alleviate poverty, and empowering adolescents through initiatives in areas such as climate change and agricultural programs.
